The Belly at 30 Weeks

How far along:  30 weeks (Oops!  I got ahead of myself last week.  I’m actually just over 30 weeks now.)

Best Moment of the Week: Planning for our vacation in a couple of weeks.  Although everything has been overshadowed by the unexpected passing of my grandpa last week.  I’m working on a post regarding that, but I’ve been busy going through old pictures and mentally sorting through all the memories.  He was a great grandpa and will be greatly missed.  :-(

Movement:  Honestly, it feels like he’s walking across my stomach all the time.  The weirdest feeling is when he moves his hands and feet at the same time and my stomach gets tickled all over from the inside.  I can’t wait to meet this little active guy!

Food Craving: Healthy stuff!  After the holidays I don’t want to see any more junk!  Our fridge is stocked with fresh fruit and veggies.  Tonight we had veggie pitas with homemade cucumber dressing, chickpea and roasted veggie salad, and fruit salad.  Also had some Martinelli’s to drink in our pretty wine glasses.

What I'm looking forward to: Family vacation soon!

Weekly Wisdom:  "You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment. ~ "Things That It Took Me 50 Years to Learn""

Big Brother:  LOVES trains!!  Even though we don’t have a TV, I’ve been letting K watch a few online Netflix movies of Thomas the Train once in a while.  It’s so cute to watch him get soooo excited about it.  He yells, “Choo Choo Train!!  Choo Choo Train!!”  I have no doubt he’ll introduce his baby brother to trains as soon as he arrives.

The Name Game:  I think we have the first name picked, but now we’re trying to decide on the middle name…

Biggest Fear:  How do you divide your love between 2 kids??  I've been so nervous over making sure both kids know they are equally loved without loving either of them less, but I have no idea how I'm going to do that...

  1. Don't worry about dividing your love between two kids. You don't. Your love GROWS. Think about it. How did you divide your love for Kai and K? You didn't. Your love grew when K was born and there was love for both. Trust me, there will be plenty of love when the newest "K" arrives.

Now...plenty of sleep, time for yourself and such is a completely different matter!! BWHAAAA
