Fun Times

Yesterday we went to the SD Zoo with some good friends. All of the animals were so active. We've been several times in the last couple of years, and have never seen some of the animals this playful. Our favorite, by far, were the polar bears....read on....
The big one was trying to coax the littler one into the pool.
Still trying...

Finally he got her in. And then they played for 20-30 minutes. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen there.
They kept tackling each other in the water--so cute!

Afterward we went to Extraordinary Desserts--one of our all time favorite restaurants (you may remember it from earlier posts). We had delicious panini's, salads, gourmet grilled cheeses, and then topped it off with some unbelievable desserts.
Jason, Andrea, Me, and Kai--also picured, Kasen who loved the dessert and at the time this picture was taken, was pouding away on my belly, ribs, bladder, etc.;-)
Brit called at 11:30 p.m. last Friday to come up to the mountains and pull him out from his off roading adventures. It took us 2 hours to get to where he was (imagine driving next to drop off cliffs and pulling our way up through the extrememly rough terrain) and then another 2 hours to dig and pull him out. Needless to say, we slept in the next morning.

After the 4.9 Earthquake. This was the biggest one we've felt yet. It was pretty fun. It knocked a picture down and a vase from a shelf, but nothing was broken.
