Springtime Fun

Last weekend we took a trip west to the beach and visited the Ojai, Santa Barbara, and Ventura area. It was great and we had gorgeous weather. This is my favorite picture from the trip! Kasen loves flying with Kai.

Story time

This week Kai had the afternoon off and we made a trip to Oak Glen to hike on the trails. We LOVE it when Kai gets an afternoon off! Kasen is facing forward in his Baby Bjorn now and loves the new world he's experiencing.

He was all smiles and was captivated by his surroundings. He saw birds, squirrels, ducks, and lots of green budding trees. It was fun to see the look of wonder in his eyes.

By the end of the hike we were tired.

We had another beautiful day!

This week, Kasen got a package in the mail from Papa and Grandma Steele. There were some very cute outfits inside and after washing them, this one looked like it would fit even though it's a 6-9 month outfit. We dressed him in it for church on Sabbath and he looked super cute--even made it on TV several times!

After church he fell asleep in his car seat still wearing his sunglasses-definitely picture worthy;-)

On Sabbath after church, we went hiking up Black Mountain in Idyllwild. This was Kasen's first trip hiking up a mountain. It was a little cooler weather, so we bundled him up and he did really good the whole time.
Uncle Brit loves hanging out with Kasen. He visits often just to hold his little nephew. Kasen has so much fun with him and spends a lot of time smiling at him while he makes silly faces and talks in funny voices. Soon he'll be able to laugh at his funny jokes like we all do. He's such a great uncle!
